Our Programme

Thursday 23rd September

Shelter Making

7:00pm to 8:30pm

While we still have some light in the evening we will be at HQ learning about and making shelters and bivouacs. It is probably a good idea for the cubs to bring a torch. A head torch is usually best because this leaves their hands free.

Thursday 30th September

Rope Making

7:00pm to 8:30pm

We will be at HQ learning to make rope. For this activity each cub will need to bring six lengths of wool (different colours preferable) each being 2 metres long.

Thursday 7th October

Cubs Virtual Global Tour

7:00pm to 8:30pm

We will be at HQ and would like cubs to bring in something interesting from home that was made in a different country. Cubs will need to find out some information about the item. The item can be anything for example: An item that has been bought while on holiday. A gift that someone has given them, or something that is used regularly in the home. The sort of information they need to find out is: What the item is? Where it comes from? What is it used for? Does it have an important significance in the country it comes from?
