Jump in, get muddy, give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it; soon so will you.
Scouts are aged between 10½ and 14 years
We usually meet on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 at Cringleford Scout Hut
Subscription costs £35 per term, payable by direct debit though the Online Scout Manager system
You can buy your uniform either online or in person from the Norfolk Scout Shop.
There is no need to buy badges as these will be provided as you earn them. You can check where to put them on your uniform on the national Scouts website.
This is what we have coming-up over the next few weeks.

Friday, 18th July
6:30am to 10:00pm
I have secured some free tickets for our Scouts to attend The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire for Friday 18 July 2025 (two weeks’ time).
This is an amazing opportunity and the biggest ground and air display in Europe. You can visit their website https://www.airtattoo.com/the-airshow/the-experience/ to find out more about it.
We realise this is fairly late notice but we needed to ensure that we had enough leaders for the day along with the use of minibuses to get there. This is now all in place.
It will be a long day! We will need to set off from Cringleford Recreation Ground Car Park (by the Scout hut) at 5.30am on the morning of Friday 18 July. It will take around four hours to drive there. Our return will probably be sometime around 10pm but may be later. We will email you when we set off from RAF Fairford with an ETA at Cringleford Recreation Ground Car Park.
Scouts will need to wear their Scout Uniform or tie-dye t-shirt and a necker so that we can identify them in a crowd. Everyone will need to bring rucksack containing a litre bottle of water (so it can be refilled on site), sandwiches for the day, snacks, waterproof jacket, fleece, sun hat/cap, sun cream spf 30. We will allow phones on this occasion but only for emergency contact with the leaders and taking photos.
You will need to request a leave of absence from school. I have attached a letter for you to take to your headteacher. You can write your child’s name on the letter or write an additional letter to accompany the attached.
